SERVICE PROJECTS
Like anything else, Camp Latonka requires a lot of
time and attention to keep everything in safe operating order. Families,
Service Units and Troops are always welcome to offer their services in keeping
Camp Latonka maintained. Repair work, painting, cleaning, moving equipment,
these are just a few of the needed services that volunteers can provide each
year.
Several troops also use part of their cookie proceeds
to purchase kitchen towels, brooms, first aid supplies or cleaning supplies, as
part of a service project. To volunteer your time or to find out what items are
on camp’s wish list, please contact Verla Shaw, Property Manager, at
573-222-8340, the council office at 1-888-780-8373
